The National All Styles (NAS) state championships were held at the YMCA Sports Centre, Darebin, on 8 October.
Peter Conroy was thrilled to be competing, and for the first year, officiating as a referee at the NAS state championships.
As a club, we achieved extraordinary results with nine students invited to compete in Sydney at the NAS national championships. Our club now holds eight state championship titles.

Funakoshi Karate hosts the annual Funakoshi Open in Warrnambool every October
The annual Funakoshi Open is held (in October) as part of the Victorian Regional Karate Championship Circuit with other tournaments held in Maryborough (September) and Ballarat (November). Find out more on the championship facebook site @vicregionalkarate.
Entries are accepted for kata, team kata and kumite in age groups pee-wees, juniors, cadets, seniors and veterans.
